Mark covington

Mark has 30+ years experience as consultant, executive leader, and administrator. He has successfully crossed over between non-profits and for-profits ranging from insurance, physician, hospital, and community-based organizations. He specializes in non-profits which seek to improve their mission and margin outcomes. His expertise entails strategy, leadership development coaching, program development, operations, customer experience and culture. He graduated from University of San Francisco and has subsequently pursued legal studies, an executive MBA , and theology studies.

Led turnarounds of both non-profits and for profits including: non-profit managed care organization, for profit franchisor, non-profit behavioral health clinic system

Led strategy to turn hospital patient satisfaction from poor to second best in large hospital system

Consulted for a startup of a non-profit mobile health clinic and fixed site clinic to serve poor and marginalized in rural areas

Transformed a hospital based non-profit rural health clinic from marginal performance to best practice in large hospital system

Build and implemented culture, leadership, co-worker organizational development program for 74 health clinics

Consultant to FQHC to startup a PACE (Program for All Inclusive Care for Elderly) program

Rachel has 25+ years in the non-profit sector. Borne out of personal experience Rachel has a passion for the mission of non-profits and has excelled at fundraising ($20 M), organizational development, and management of complex non-profits ranging from community health centers to hospitals. She graduated Stephen’s College and has engaged in several post grad programs in philanthropy. She and Mark are proud parents of six thriving children.

Rachel has:

Raised $20 million by orchestrating, leading, and managing fundraising campaigns.

Strategic leader and operator for capital campaigns for new hospital and major hospital service lines.

Ran community health and social services center serving the poor and added multiple service lines

Operated multi- hospital departments for philanthropy, volunteers, retail
