Mission, Culture, Core Values

An organization’s mission statement is unique to the organization. Its core values statement however is both universal and particular at the same time. Often core values like respect, fairness, service, and so on are more universal, cutting across most cultures, religions, and communities.

Core values are unique to the non-profit, however, when they frame the mission and the culture. Values signify ways of thinking, speaking, and acting that give an organization its identity and personality.

“You will know us by the way we act and speak.”

Core values link co-workers into a common culture thereby supporting the mission. Co-workers may not realize it, but when they join an organization, they join a ‘family’ that is often well formed.

We work with organizations to help them bring to life their mission and core values. We can help shape a strategy that integrates mission and core values throughout the entire organization. We provide an initial free consultation to hear your thoughts and learn your needs.
