Organizational Identity

Most non-profits have a mission and core values statement. How does your statement act as the Northstar for your company? Does it shape culture? Does it shape the identity of the organization? Is it integrated into key decisions in the organization including HR, Finance, Strategy, Marketing, and Public Relations, and more? Does it inform how the organization values and treats people whether co-workers or customers? Does it clarify a sense of social responsibility? Is it actively integrated into both operations and culture or is it a formality that it is hanging on wall somewhere or in a desk drawer, and trotted out for ceremony such as a board meeting? Can co-workers, executives, board-members articulate the mission and core values? These are some of the many questions that enliven an organization’s statement.

At whatever stage your organization is, we can help you sharpen or deepen how you use it to make your organization’s identity clear. And, if you happen not to have such a statement or it is no longer viable, we can help you create one that is meaningful, states who you are and what you stand for, and integrate it into the fabric of your organization.

Please feel free to let us know how we can help. We offer a free initial consultation to assess your needs.
